Description

Capsules. The contents are brown to blackish-brown granules with a bitter taste.

Indications

Benefit qi and warm yang, activate blood circulation to unblock collaterals, promote diuresis to relieve edema. It is used for mild to moderate congestive heart failure caused by coronary heart disease or hypertension, with syndrome of yang-qi deficiency and stagnant collaterals complicated by water retention. Symptoms include palpitations and shortness of breath aggravated by activity, inability to lie flat at night, lower limb edema, lassitude and fatigue, scanty urine, cyanotic lips and nails, cold limbs, and cough with thin whitish sputum.

Dosage and Administration

Oral use. 4 capsules each time, 3 times daily.
